Working with small groups of students they first drew each other adding details to the face. These were then placed underneath a large piece of fabric to create their panels. They added wax to create outlines then added dye to create a vivid panel. Once dry they then added more wax and dye to give a depth to the colours and shades.

The finished panels were mounted on display boards around the school to enliven the spaces.

Other work includes Textiles at Holte School, working alongside another teacher to give students a greater opportunity to develop fabrics to create a bag. Also working with small groups of yr 10 & 11 students to help to add more a variety of work to their final portfolios.
